Handcrafted pet art.
Made to be trusted.

Bespoke pet portraits, handcrafted by our artists in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo, and brought to pet parents through the local businesses they already love.

Hi, I'm Ryan.

Woodykiki started with my cat, Kiki. One day, I decided I wanted a portrait of her, something I could hang on the wall and keep forever. I thought it would be easy to find one.

It wasn't. The internet was full of digital files, cheap prints and portraits that looked a little too perfect. Some of them weren't made by a person at all. They were made by AI. Every listing promised a "hand-painted masterpiece", but I couldn't tell what was real and what wasn't.

Then I looked over at Kiki, curled up on the sofa, half-closing her eyes the way she does when she's happy. None of those portraits could capture that. A machine can copy a photo, but it can't notice the little things that make her Kiki.

So I went looking for real artists, people with real brushes, chisels and needles, who would take the time to truly see her. When I finally held that first handmade portrait in my hands, I felt something no screen had ever given me. I knew other pet parents deserved that feeling too.

That's why I founded Woodykiki in London in 2024, with one simple belief: the animals we love deserve real art, made by real hands.

Today, our artists in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo handcraft bespoke pet portraits in nine art forms, from oil painting and wood carving to porcelain and embroidery. We work only with businesses, and we partner with more than 630 pet boutiques, grooming salons and art galleries. Together, we bring distinctive artistry to their businesses and deeply personal keepsakes to their customers.

This is how we got here, and why we do things differently.

The animals we love deserve real art, made by real hands.

A booming market with a trust problem

Over the past five years, custom pet portraits have become one of the most popular personalised gifts in the world. The custom pet products market was estimated at around US$8.5 billion in 2025 and is growing by more than 8% a year. People see their pets as family, and they want to celebrate them.

But almost all of this art is sold online, and pet parents have to judge it from a photo on a screen. Many have paid for a "hand-painted masterpiece" based on a polished picture or video, then received something rushed, printed or barely like their pet. Reviews are full of these disappointments. The more popular custom portraits become, the more people get let down.

In your local pet shop, where people already trust the staff with their pets, you could rarely find any of this art. Nobody could see it, touch it or judge the quality before they paid.

Our mission

We want to change that. Our mission is to bring truly handcrafted, high-quality art back into the heart of the pet community: the local stores and salons where pet parents already shop, chat and feel at home.

When a customer can hold a real Woodykiki piece in their hands, see the brushstrokes, feel the carved wood and look closely at the stitching, they don't have to guess. They know exactly what they're getting.

When customers can hold the art in their hands, they don't have to guess.

Made by hand. Made as if your name is on it.

Our artists handcraft or hand-paint every Woodykiki piece. We don't use mass production, AI or shortcuts. Each portrait is made for one pet and one family.

That matters to you, because it gives your customers something they'll never find at the big chains. It's a reason to visit your store, and a reason to come back.

We know you've built your store's reputation one customer at a time. Every friendly greeting, every careful groom and every recommendation has earned your community's trust. When your customers order through you, our work carries that trust too. So we make every piece as if your name is on it, because to your customers, it is.

Choices backed by real data

Every partner store helps us learn what pet parents love. Our system collects sales data from hundreds of partner stores, so we can see which art forms, styles and sizes sell best, and in which kinds of stores.

We share these insights with you. Instead of guessing which display to choose, you can start with pieces that have already proven popular. Your choices are based on real results, not hope.

Our promise to you.

When you partner with Woodykiki, you're not just adding a product. You're working with a team that cares about your business as much as you do. We promise:

  • To treat your customers as our own
  • To craft every piece with care, skill and honesty
  • To keep things simple for you and your team
  • To keep improving, so we can support your business better
No stock to buy No risk No extra work Just real, handcrafted art

Pet parents deserve art they can trust, and local businesses deserve partners they can count on. That's why I started Woodykiki, and it's what we work towards every day.

Thank you for being part of our story.
